The responsibility of delivering the life-saving Gospel to the lost has been committed to all believers. That’s right, ALL believers, not just ordained ministers, evangelists, or missionaries. In fact, the Apostle Paul said that the ministry of reconciling people to God has been given to all those who have been born-again, whose old life has passed away, and all things have become new. “...if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation” (2 Cor. 5:17-18).
Christians must understand that this is a very serious responsibility. It is a matter of life or death! The consequences of what we do may determine the eternal destiny of our friends, family, or acquaintances. There are individuals who may spend eternity in Heaven with Christ because we told them about Jesus Christ. And even more sobering, there may be those who suffer eternal torment in the lake of fire FOREVER, simply because we couldn’t find the time or were too “embarrassed” to talk about Jesus!

Dan 7:1 In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon Daniel had a dream and visions of his head on his bed: then he wrote the dream and told the sum of the matters.

Daniel spoke and said, I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the sky broke forth on the great sea.

Four great animals came up from the sea, diverse one from another.

The first was like a lion, and had eagle’s wings: I saw until its wings were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made to stand on two feet as a man; and a man’s heart was given to it.

I came near to one of those who stood by, and asked him the truth concerning all this. So he told me, and made me know the interpretation of the things.

But the holy ones of the Most High shall receive the kingdom, and possess the kingdom forever, even forever and ever.

Then I desired to know the truth concerning the fourth animal, which was diverse from all of them, exceedingly terrible, whose teeth were of iron, and its nails of brass; which devoured, broke in pieces, and stamped the residue with its feet;

He said: Dear God,

I pray that YOU will protect this little boy, guide and deliver him away from his misery. I pray that we will be more sensitive towards the world around us and not be blinded by our own selfish nature and interests.

I hope this picture will always serve as a reminder to us that how fortunate we are and that we must never ever take things for granted.

Let's make a prayer for the suffering in anywhere anyplace around the globe and send this friendly reminder to others "Think & look at this... when you complain about your food and the food we wasted daily....... .

About the picture:

The picture depicts a famine stricken child crawling towards an United Nations food camp, located a kilometer away.
The vulture is waiting for the child to die so that it can eat it. This picture shocked the whole world. No one knows what happened to the child, including the photographer Kevin Carter who left the place as soon as the photograph was taken.
Three months later he committed suicide due to depression.

Deu 5:7 - I think it needful to add a few questions here,
which the reader may answer between God and his own soul.

THE 10 COMMANDMENTS:

1) Thou shalt have none other gods before me - Hast thou worshipped God in spirit and in truth? Hast thou proposed to thyself no end besides him? Hath he been the end of all thy actions? Hast thou sought for any other happiness, than the knowledge and love of God? Dost thou experimentally know the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom he hath sent? Dost thou love God? Dost thou love him with all thy heart, with all thy soul, and with all thy strength; so as to love nothing else but in that manner and degree which tends to increase thy love of him? Hast thou found happiness in God? Is he the desire of thine eyes, the joy of thy heart? If not, thou hast other gods before him.

2) Deu 5:8 - Thou shalt not make any graven image - Hast thou not formed any gross image of God in thy mind? Hast thou always thought of him as a pure spirit, whom no man hath seen, nor can see? And hast thou worshipped him with thy body, as well as with thy spirit, seeing both of them are God's?

3) Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain - Hast thou never used the name of God, unless on solemn and weighty occasions? Hast thou then used it with the deepest awe? Hast thou duly honoured his word, his ordinances, his ministers? Hast thou considered all things as they stand in relation to him, and seen God in all? Hast thou looked upon heaven as God's throne? Up on earth as God's footstool? On every thing therein as belonging to the great king? On every creature as full of God?

4) Deu 5:12 - Keep the sabbath - day, to sanctify it - Dost thou do no work on this day, which can be done as well on another? Art thou peculiarly careful on this day, to avoid all conversation, which does not tend to the knowledge and love of God? Dost thou watch narrowly over all that are within thy gates, that they too may keep it holy? And dost thou try every possible means, to bring all men, wherever you are, to do the same?

5) Deu 5:16 - Honour thy father and mother - Hast thou not been irreverent or undutiful to either? Hast thou not slighted their advice? Hast thou chearfully obeyed all their lawful commands? Hast thou loved and honoured their persons? Supplied their wants, and concealed their infirmities? Hast thou wrestled for them with God in prayer? Hast thou loved and honoured thy prince, and avoided as fire all speaking evil of the ruler of thy people? Have ye that are servants done all things as unto Christ? Not with eye - service, but in singleness of heart? Have ye who are masters, behaved as parents to your servants, with all gentleness and affection? Have ye all obeyed them that watch over your souls, and esteemed them highly in love for their work's sake?

6) Deu 5:17 - Thou shalt not kill - Have you not tempted any one, to what might shorten his life? Have you tempted none to intemperance? Have you suffered none to be intemperate under your roof, or in your company? Have you done all you could in every place, to prevent intemperance of all kinds! Are you guilty of no degree of self - murder? Do you never eat or drink any thing because you like it, although you have reason to believe, it is prejudicial to your health? Have you constantly done whatever you had reason to believe was conducive to it? Have you not hated your neighbour in your heart? Have you reproved him that committed sin in your sight? If not, you have in God's account hated him, seeing you suffered sin upon him. Have you loved all men as your own soul? As Christ loved us? Have you done unto all men, as in like circumstances, you would they should do to you? Have you done all in your power to help your neighbours, enemies as well as friends? Have you laboured to deliver every soul you could from sin and misery? Have you shewed that you loved all men as yourself, by a constant, earnest endeavour, to fill all places with holiness and happiness, with the knowledge and love of God?

7) Deu 5:18 - Neither shalt thou commit adultery - If thou hast not been guilty of any act of uncleanness, hath thy heart conceived no unclean thought? Hast thou not looked on a woman so as to lust after her? Hast thou not betrayed thy own soul to temptation, by eating and drinking to the full, by needless familiarities, by foolish talking, by levity of dress or behaviour? Hast thou used all the means which scripture and reason suggest, to prevent every kind and degree of unchastity? Hast thou laboured, by watching, fasting, and prayer, to possess thy vessel in sanctification and honour?

8) Deu 5:19 - Neither shalt thou steal - Have you seriously considered, that these houses, lands, money, or goods, which you are used to call your own, are not your own, but belong to another, even God? Have you ever considered, that God is the sole proprietor of heaven and earth? The true owner of every thing therein? Have you considered, that he has only lent them to you? That you are but a steward of your Lord's goods? And that he has told you expressly the uses and purposes for which he intrusts you with them? Namely, for the furnishing first yourselves, and then as many others as you can, with the things needful for life and godliness? Have you considered, that you have no right at all, to apply any part of them to any other purpose? And that if you do, you are as much a robber of God, as any can be a robber of you?

9) Deu 5:20 - Neither shalt thou bear false witness against thy neighbour - Have you not been guilty of evil - speaking? Of needlessly repeating the real fault of your neighbour? If I see a man do an evil thing, and tell it to another, unless from a full and clear conviction, that it is necessary to mention it just then, for the glory of God, the safety or good of some other person, or for the benefit of him that hath done amiss; and unless I then do it only so far, as is necessary to these ends, that is evil - speaking. O beware of this! It is scattering abroad arrows, fire - brands, and death.

10) Deu 5:21 - Neither shalt thou covet any thing that is thy neighbour's - The plain meaning of this is, thou shalt not desire any thing that is not thy own, any thing which thou hast not. Indeed why shouldst thou? God hath given thee whatever tends to thy one end, holiness. Thou canst not deny it, without making him a liar: and: when any thing else will tend thereto, he will give thee that also. There is therefore no room to desire any thing which thou hast not. Thou hast already every thing that is really good for thee, wouldst thou have more money, more pleasure, more praise still? Why this is not good for thee. God has told thee so, by withholding it from thee. O give thyself up to his wise and gracious disposal!

Thinking tonight, at youth group, about the difference between Sebastians football team and the B-unit, brought back to my mind an article I read - click here -
about how John Wesley organized his small groups in the 1700's.
For those who don't know John Wesley, he was without a doubt one of the greatest Christian leaders of all time. His movement turned England and America upside down. His revolutionary style of street preaching, combined with hard-core discipleship won him many converts. We need more people like Wesley today who will stand up in the street corners and proclaim the truth of the gospel.
Actually the first article on Wesleys group that got me thinking was this one - click here - from Christianity today in 2003.
Long have I believed that discipleship is the missing link for the church in North America, but this article took it to new levles. Literally. It shows how Wesley broke up his followers into 4 groups, meetings or "bands" and how strict personal discipline was the order of the day. The way you moved "up" in the group was by recommendation from those above you, gauranteeing everyone was personally discipled. Strict confidentiality was also practised and an environment was created so people could "confess their sins to each other" in privacy and get help with personal, moral problems.
To do this, Wesley introduced his most controversial (at least in my mind) method. He laid down severely strict rules for those in his "group". If one was broken, someone could be "cut off". They would not be cut off forever, but would have to go back to group 1 and start all over.
Here is a sample of some rules (watch out this is long, but a good read):
John Wesley’s Rules for the Band-Societies (drawn up Dec. 25, 1738)
The design of our meeting is, to obey that command of God, "Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed." To this end, we intend,-
1. To meet once a week, at the least.
2. To come punctually at the hour appointed, without some extraordinary reason.
3. To begin (those of us who are present) exactly at the hour, with singing or prayer.
4. To speak each of us in order, freely and plainly, the true state of our souls, with the faults we have committed in thought, word, or deed, and the temptations we have felt, since our last meeting.
5. To end every meeting with prayer, suited to the state of each person present.
6. To desire some person among us; to speak his own state first, and then to ask the rest, in order, as many and as searching questions as may be, concerning their state, sins, and temptations.

These were the rules for people IN the group, but look at the rules he set up in order to JUST get in to the meeting! Some of the questions proposed to every one before he is admitted among us may be to this effect:-

1. Have you the forgiveness of your sins?
2. Have you peace with God, through our Lord Jesus Christ?
3. Have you the witness of God's Spirit with your spirit, that you are a child of God?
4. Is the love of God shed abroad in your heart?
5. Has no sin, inward or outward, dominion over you?
6. Do you desire to be told your faults?
7. Do you desire to be told of all your faults, and that plain and home?
8. Do you desire that every one of us should tell you, from time to time, whatsoever is in his heart concerning you?
9. Consider! Do you desire we should tell you whatsoever we think, whatsoever we fear, whatsoever we hear, concerning you?
10. Do you desire that, in doing this, we should come as close as possible, that we should cut to the quick, and search your heart to the bottom?
11. Is it your desire and design to be on this, and all other occasions, entirely open, so as to speak everything that is in your heart without exception, without disguise, and without reserve?

How many of us would even get into our own churches if they asked us those questions? Also, at EVER meeting these questions would be asked of EVERY person: *Any of the preceding questions may be asked as often as occasion offers; the four following at every meeting:-

1. What known sins have you committed since our last meeting?
2. What temptations have you met with?
3. How were you delivered?
4. What have you thought, said, or done, of which you doubt whether it be sin or not?

While these may be rules for entrance, really it boiled down to just one "requirement" for admission:

Conditions of Membership into Methodist Society:
There is one only condition previously required in those who desire admission into these societies: a desire "to flee from the wrath to come, to be saved from their sins:" But, wherever this is really fixed in the soul, it will be shown by its fruits. It is therefore expected of all who continue therein, that they should continue to evidence their desire of salvation. Thus we say to those who unite with us: You are supposed to have the faith that "overcometh the world." To you, therefore, it is not grievous:
I. Carefully to abstain from doing evil; in particular:
1. Neither to buy nor sell anything at all on the Lord's day.
2. To taste no spirituous liquor, no dram of any kind, unless prescribed by a Physician.
3. To be at a word both in buying and selling.
4. To pawn nothing, no, not to save life.
5. Not to mention the fault of any behind his back, and to stop those short that do.
6. To wear no needless ornaments, such as rings, earrings, necklaces, lace, ruffles.
7. To use no needless self-indulgence, such as taking snuff or tobacco, unless prescribed by a Physician.

II. Zealously to maintain good works; in particular:
1. To give alms of such things as you possess, and that to the uttermost of your power.
2. To reprove all that sin in your sight, and that in love and meekness of wisdom.
3. To be patterns of diligence and frugality, of self-denial, and taking up the cross daily.

III. Constantly to attend on all the ordinances of God; in particular:
1. To be at church and at the Lord's table every week, and at every public meeting of the Bands.
2. To attend the ministry of the word every morning, unless distance, business, or sickness prevent.
3. To use private prayer every day; and family prayer, if you are the head of a family.
4. To read the Scriptures, and meditate therein, at every vacant hour. And:
5. To observe, as days of fasting or abstinence, all Fridays in the year.

These are the General Rules of our societies; all which we are taught of God to observe, even in his written word, the only rule, and the sufficient rule, both of our faith and practice. And all these, we know, his Spirit writes on every truly awakened heart. If there be any among us who observe them not, who habitually break any of them, let it be made known unto them who watch over that soul as they that must give an account. We will admonish him of the error of his ways; we will bear with him for a season: But then if he repent not, he hath no more place among us. We have delivered our own souls. -Wesley's Works Vol. 8. pgs 270,271,272-274.

The article goes on to say "Because the Methodist Societies were not controlled by The Church of England some Priests from the Church opposed them and said they were divisive. John Wesley pointed out that they were not dividing Christians but introducing true Christian fellowship and support where it had not been." On top of that there is a list of things people had been kicked out for (again, this is long, but gives you a good idea of how serious he was):

Detailed account of those who had left the society: since Dec. 30 was 76:
14 (chiefly Dissenters) because otherwise their Ministers would not give them the sacrament.
9 because their husbands or wives were not willing they should stay in it.
5 because their master and mistress would not let them come.
7 because their acquaintance persuaded them to leave it.
5 because people said such bad things of the society.
9 because they would be laughed at.
3 because they would not lose the poor's allowance.
3 because they could not spare time to come.
2 because it was too far off.
1 because she was falling into fits.
1 because people were so rude in the streets.
2 because Thomas Naisbut was in the society.
1 because he would not turn back on his baptism.
1 because we were mere Church of England men.
1 because it was time enough to serve God yet.

Detailed account of those who were expelled from the society: since Dec. 30 was 64:
2 for cursing and swearing.
2 for habitual Sabbath-breaking.
17 for drunkenness.
2 for retailing spirituous liquors.
3 for quarreling and brawling.
1 for beating his wife.
3 for habitual, willful lying.
4 for railing and evil-speaking.
1 for idleness and laziness.
29 for lightness and carelessness.

Hopefully some of you have made it this far and have thoughts on these "rules". Are they too much? Is it legalistic? Where is the line between church discipline and legalism? Would a system like this work today? Why? Are we just wimps and too scared we will "lose people"? How can we implement this in today's churches? Would it be better or worse if we did something similar?

I just watched a tape of David talking about fasting. He said that when they fast, it is complete. They don't fast halfway.

David said that they do it like Jesus said to and wash their faces and dress normally and don't appear to be fasting. They keep a normal schedule and do the work they normally do.
Fasting is like weightlifting. You don't start out trying to lift 400 pounds or you will drop it on yourself and die. You start out small and do it lots of times and slowly build ability to do more. Maybe in a couple of years you will be able to move the 400 pounds, if you are diligent and consistent with the training. So start with a half-day fast, move up to a whole day and do that length for a while, then add days together. After a while your body will be able to handle longer and longer times without eating. He really despises the things we do to get around the fast, like juicing veggies or meat and calling it a liquid. You will only get out of a fast what you are willing to put into it. God is not fooled by our compromise. He wants people who say they are hungry for Him to act like it.
We fast because everyone in the Bible who did miracles fasted, including Jesus and the disciples. It is a difficult thing and will bring up to the surface the dross hidden inside us. The flesh will learn to submit and we will encounter things in God we didn't know were possible, as we are obedient to fast and to bring God's witness to other humans around us.

Primary reasons for fasting

We are told "Humble yourself before the Lord and He will lift you up". This is a purposeful voluntary humbling. In the Old Testament, people fasted and clothed themselves in sackcloth and ashes. This was all a way to strip themselves of pride and self-centeredness.
Self-denial "Deny yourself, take up your cross and follow me." What is being denied is the flesh, which is at war with the spirit. It is seeking a spiritual blessing while denying the things that give pleasure to the flesh. It is our self-centeredness that is the primary obstacle to serving and knowing God.
Mourning (for sin, for nation, for death, etc.)
Desire for something. There is always a hope underlying the self-humbling. A desire for God to forgive, to help, to bless, to change our hearts.
Gives you extra time to seek God and focus on Him. Be hungry for God's actual presence.

Kinds of fasting

Total fast (no food, no water)
Food fast (no food)
Partial fast (fasting a certain meal or only eating certain kinds of food, such as vegetables or juices)
Supernatural fast (God helps person to fast in ways not physically possible)
Imposed fast (a non-voluntary fast that is then dedicated to God. This has been used by prisoners of conscience, such as Corrie & Elisabeth ten Boom in the Ravensbruck concentration camp. There were times they did not receive any food, so instead of complaining to God, they proclaimed it a fast and sought God.)
Corporate fast (A body of people fasting in agreement. There is power in such agreement.)
God's Chosen Fast (Isaiah, chapter 58. Fasting does no good if you aren't following God in the rest of your life.)

Warnings

Not to be done for the eyes of others, as this is purely pride and is detestable to God. Jesus said that those who do this "have received their reward in full".
Fasting should be generally be secret unless a corporate or family fast. Sometimes it can be shared to help people see the importance of this discipline. Watch the motives.
Breaking the fast must be done properly or the body can suffer, even to the point of death. When a total fast or food fast has gone on for more than a week, the body shuts down certain digestive functions. When it is time to break the fast, the digestive tract must be restarted slowly with dilute juices for a day or two, progressing to soft foods, and finally to more substantial foods. This slow introduction provides the body with something easy to handle while the digestive juices are released again. If solid food is eaten after a prolonged fast, the body will probably experience cramping pains, diarrhea, possible damage to the intestines, and potential death (after a very long fast). I have eaten fairly substantially after a 7-day food fast without too much trouble, mostly diarrhea. Just avoid stuff like hot spices, butter, salsa, chili, nuts, and other hard to digest stuff. Think "baby food" to help you keep things simple.
A doctor told me that the general guidelines for the body's need for water and food are 4 days without water, 40 days without food. Beyond these limits, death becomes a real potential. This is based on the "average" person, so a more frail person would have shorter limits. God can extend these periods supernaturally, but it is wise to keep an eye on how the body is doing. My joints are the first thing to give out, with sharp pains.
Don't jump into a prolonged fast without doing shorter fasts to get the body trained. Remember, this is a discipline, not "jumping off the temple" (Matthew 4:6-7).
Our righteousness was imparted to us by the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus. Fasting is not a way to become righteous. It is an expression of our attitude toward God.
Fasting without prayer is simply starvation. Seek God! Continue to obey Him and witness to others. God may bring into your path those who have problems that couldn't otherwise be dealt with. (Matthew 17:21, Mark 9:29)

Honey in Medicine

It is found that mixture of Honey and Cinnamon cures most of the diseases. Honey is produced in most of the countries of the world. Ayurvedic as well as Yunani medicine have been using honey as a vital medicine for centuries. Scientists of today also accept honey as a "Ram Ban" (very effective) medicine for all kinds of diseases. Honey can be used without any side effects for any kind of diseases. Today's science says that even though honey is sweet, if taken in the right dosage as a medicine, it does not harm diabetic patients. HEART DISEASES:
Make a paste of honey and cinnamon powder, apply on bread or chappati instead of jelly and jam and eat it regularly for breakfast. It reduces the cholesterol in the arteries and saves the patient from heart attack. Also those who have already had an attack, if they do this process daily, are kept miles away from the next attack. Regular use of the above process relieves loss of breath and strengthens the heartbeat. In America and Canada, various nursing homes have treated patients successfully and have found that due to the increasing age the arteries and veins, which lose their flexibility and get clogged, are revitalized.
ARTHRITIS:
Take one part honey to two parts of lukewarm water and add a small teaspoon of cinnamon powder, make a paste and massage it on the itching part of the body slowly. It is noticed that the pain recedes within a minute or two. Arthritis patients may take daily, morning and night, one cup of hot water with two spoons of honey and one small teaspoon of cinnamon powder. If taken regularly even chronic arthritis can be cured. In a recent research conducted at the Copenhagen University, it was found that when the doctors treated their patients with a mixture of one tablespoon Honey and half teaspoon cinnamon powder before breakfast, they found that within a week out of the 200 people so treated practically 73 patients were totally relieved of pain and within a month, mostly all the patients who could not walk or move around because of arthritis started walking without pain.
HAIR LOSS:
Those suffering from hair loss or baldness, may apply a paste of hot olive oil, one tablespoon of honey, one teaspoon of cinnamon powder before bath and keep it for approx. 15 min. and then wash the hair. It was found to be effective even if kept on for 5 minutes.
BLADDER INFECTIONS:
Take two tablespoons of cinnamon powder an d one teaspoon of honey in a glass of luke warm water and drink it. It destroys the germs in the bladder.
TOOTHACHE:
Make a paste of one teaspoon of cinnamon powder and five teaspoons of honey and apply on the aching tooth. This may be applied 3 times a day till the tooth stops aching.
CHOLESTEROL:
Two tablespoons of honey and three teaspoons of Cinnamon Powder mixed in 16 ounces of tea water, if given to a cholesterol patient, it reduces the level of cholesterol in the blood by 10% within 2 hours. As mentioned for arthritic patients, if taken 3 times a day, any chronic cholesterol is cured. As per information received in the said journal, pure honey taken with food daily relieves complains of cholesterol.
COLDS:
Those suffering from common or severe colds should take one tablespoon lukewarm honey with 1/4 spoon cinnamon powder daily for 3 days. This process will cure most chronic cough, cold and clear the sinuses.
INFERTILITY:
Yunani and Ayurvedic have been using honey for thousands of years to strengthen the semen of men. If impotent men regularly take two tablespoon of honey before going to sleep, their problem will be solved. In China, Japan and Far-East countries, women, who do not conceive and need to strengthen the uterus, have been taking cinnamon powder for centuries. ok, Why am I putting up this post?

Because I heard from a minister friend years ago that the Dake's Annotated Reference Bible was the BEST STUDY BIBLE for people in the ministry. These people (actually it was both the minister & his wife) highly respected Mr. Dake, because of GOD's annointing. Now, after all these years, I just learned about it myself & as with ALL GOOD THINGS, I WANT TO SHARE THEM!!!

Born in 1902, Finis Dake rejected Christianity until age 17. In May of 1920, Dake received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Dake was called to the ministry and became aware of a newfound ability-he could quote hundreds of scriptures although he had only read a little of the Bible. Later, as Dake began to study the Bible, this spiritual total recall would make it possible for him to memorize volumes of scripture, learn Greek and Latin, and author a reference Bible titled, DAKE'S ANNOTATED REFERENCE BIBLE. Dake's "gift of memory" did not extend to other areas and according to his wife Dorothy, Dake had a poor memory when it came to domestic things.

At 24 years of age, Dake completed Bible school and was ordained an Assemblies of God minister. After serving as an evangelist for three years, Dake became a pastor and eventually the founder and president of the Great Lakes Bible Institute in Zion, Illinois. When challenged to quote the entire New Testament, Dake quoted from Matthew through Revelation giving chapters and verses while seated in a department store window and broadcasting over a local radio station.

Dake felt that he was called and prepared by God to undertake the monumental task single-handedly annotating the Bible. Dake spent 43 years and more than 100,000 hours searching the scriptures, Bible texts, and secular history to compile a study Bible which outlines all the books in the Bible, contains a half million cross references throughout 35,000 notes and comments, and is compatible with evangelical, Pentecostal, and charismatic beliefs. During this arduous undertaking, Dake’s guiding principle was to "take the Bible literally wherein it is at all possible; if symbolic, figurative or typical language is used, then look for the literal truth it tends to convey".

Having taught himself the Greek and Latin meanings of every word in the Scriptures, along with the opinions of various scholars, Dake accomplished most of his work while pastoring a church and teaching at his Bible college. After dinner, Dake would begin work, often continuing throughout the night.

Near the completion of this great work, Dake made a naive error that cost him six months in jail and his ministerial affiliation. While traveling home from a meeting, Dake picked up a hitchhiker and in his zeal to lead her to salvation, transported the 16-year old runaway girl across state lines. Her parents pressed charges and Dake pleaded guilty to violating the Mann Act. Dake’s wife and church remained loyal during what his lawyer called an "unfortunate mistake," and Dake became licensed with another denomination. What the devil had meant for harm, however, provided Dake the opportunity to finish, uninterrupted, the DAKE'S ANNOTATED REFERENCE BIBLE-a legacy that has blessed many since his death in 1987.

...My decision was firm. I vowed to the Lord never to teach one thing I could not prove with two or three plain Scriptures, agreeing with Paul that “in the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established” (2 Cor.13:1). Believing also that “no prophecy .. . is of any private interpretation” (to be interpreted without comparison with other Scriptures, 2 Pet. 1:20), I reasoned that the Bible is God’s Word in human language and means exactly what it says. Any interpretation which is out of harmony with what is plainly written must be rejected as the theory of man.

GOD's good gift of the HOLY SPIRIT is for anyone!

When I was 17 I was reading the New Testament. (my custome was to read it after praying for GOD's enlightenment-then continue in prayer with HIM as I read along.)

So Acts 19...the believers in a city are asked if they have received the HOLY SPIRIT since they have believed.
and they answer back, "we have not so much as heard whether there be any HOLY SPIRIT!"

and I said right out loud- YEAH, me neither!

as I continued reading I saw how the apostles sent out two men to go and pray for those believers so that they, too, would recieve the HOLY SPIRIT!

I said to GOD, "me too, LORD! Please, I want to be baptized in the HOLY SPIRIT, too!"
now, I knew that those apostles had died a long time ago.
But, I also knew that what GOD gave to one person, HE would give to any other person that asked.
So, I asked.

and, I left it all in HIS Hands. I knew sometime, I would be baptized in the HOLY SPIRIT. Whenever/however GOD did it was fine with me.

About 3 months later I was driving along in my car (I think I was praying at the time, but I am not positive)...then, all of a sudden I started Singing OUT really loud in tongues!

---that is how GOD baptized me in the HOLY SPIRIT.

a few years after that I was witnessing to someone, telling them the Gospel of JESUS CHRIST.
out of my mouth came scripture after scripture after scripture!
I was amazed - it was like I was just sitting there and all these scriptures were coming out of my mouth perfectly. I continued on and they accepted JESUS as their Saviour and LORD.

Then I went through a New Testament and highlighted all the scriptures that had 'come out' and gave it to them.

We, ordinary humans, have a God given gift to see the future in visions and
dreams that are fluid in nature. This "seeing gift" is a component of our
being, unfortunately in the modern society this "gift" mostly has been
suppressed because of our addiction to TV and its avalanche of images that
clouds our minds.

Humans sometimes see the future in visions as a warning to change that
future from happening, either by modifying the future or changing our course
of action.

Below are some of those visions seen by normal human beings. Those are NOT
predictions given by seers or prophets, they are simply "images" seen by
mentally stable regular humans who mostly are Christian believers. My
purpose is not to fan or to "fuel the anxiety and fear that is pushing
Americans further into the arms of the NWO zionist fascist theocracy now
sitting in DC" as someone said, but to spotlight what may be in store for us
and avert the catastrophe from happening. Readers should use discernment
while reading those visions and dreams because they could be induced by
"high tech" means unknown to us by NWO itself in order "to fuel anxiety and
fear" and bring us to subjugation.

"For some time now God has been giving me direction concerning this
terrorist attack coming up [on USA]. About how to minister to my community
after the attack. While in prayer concerning this [new] attack the Lord told
me that this [new terror] attack would lead to [another] war in the Middle
East. That in that war our opposition would lay a trap for us, a trap we
would fall into and a trap that would incite all of the Middle East to war
against us. And that it would be an extremely fierce battle. I have no clear
understanding of the outcome of the war. And I think the trap is a nuclear
bomb set to go off when we attack a certain building [or a structure like
the Kaaba of Meka or a nuclear/chemical lab in Iran] to make it look like we
attacked that country with a nuclear bomb," John Pass.

If the news of flushing of the Koran into the toilets stirred such a
commotion in the Muslim world what would happened if the Kaaba is blown up
(as a false flag operation) by a small nuke bomb, just after another nuclear
or biological terror attack in US, then the American military is blamed for
nuke-bombing of the Muslim number one holy shrine!

"I saw an Eagle standing proud and tall and the Eagle was turning to fight
some enemy that was before it. The proud Eagle, all dressed for battle,
turned and faced the enemy before it and just as the Eagle started forward
toward the enemy; I saw a knife being thrust into the back of the proud and
surprised Eagle. As the Eagle staggered from the knife wound to it's back, I
saw arrows come from the enemy it had been facing and hit the Eagle. The
vision faded at this point, so I did not see the result of the attack on the

"I found myself in the Middle-East. I was elevated in the air and looking
down at about a 45 degree angle. There was a brown haze in the air (nuclear
explosion?). I saw on the ground, in this desert looking terrain, a
tremendous eagle. It was huge, larger than a jumbo jet, and the detail of
its wings and feathers was awesome. It was spread out on the ground and I
know that it had just died. For two hundred yards in every directionwere
middle easterners, Muslims, crowded around to look at the eagle. They were
shocked. They could not believe that the eagle was actually dead. The
thought in my mind was, why? Why did we do this?" David Gibson.

"I saw a great city, (I thought NY at the time but who knows). All of a
sudden I saw a light streaking across the sky and go down into the city.
Then there was a huge explosion and the entire city was flattened. Just
gone, nothing remaining....again I saw 3 missiles going toward the US. I
stood there and watched as 2 hit cities on the east coast and one went out
to the west [Phoenix/Los Angeles?] somewhere. I was certain that one city
was NY but the other east coast city I wasn't sure -- but it was to the

In 1995 I wrote "At forty-five degree [angle] the sky burning, fire
approaching the great new city [NYC]. In an instant a great scattered flame
will leap up [nuclear mushroom cloud], when they will want to give the
Normans [the French] a proof of their might," Nosty's quatrain 97, century
6. I would like to highlight the sentence "they will want to give the French
a proof of their might" because in the Protocols of Zion, 7.6, we read: "In
a word, to sum up our system of keeping the governments of the goyim in
Europe in check, we shall show our strength to one of them by terrorist
attempts." They will show their power to France by terrorist acts on USA so
that Europe will vote "yes" to a politically United Europe.

The next attack could be twofold because I believe "destiny" will knock at
the door of USA for nuking the two Japanese cities of Hiroshima and
Nagasaki, in other words it would be a pay-time for USA.

David J. Meyer, a Christian pastor, has seen the collapse of World Trade
Center in a vision on August 2001 and had it recorded in his newsletter
before 9/11 did happen. I have read his testimony before 9/11 and it came
true. On Feb. 15, 2004, David wrote: "I saw a residential area of a large
city [New York?]. It was as dark as night, but I could see rooftops and a
large square building. I did not recognize the area and wondered where it
was. In an instant there was a massive explosion, and the large square
building disappeared in fragments of glass and concrete. Immediately there
was another flash of light, and then a column of red and yellow fire that
rose high into the air appeared like a mushroom cloud." This one is yet to
come soon.

In his July, 2005, Newsletter David writes: Just after the first weekend in
June, 2005, we received a report that eyewitnesses saw three large military
tanks rolling down Seventh Avenue in Manhattan. There was no parade nor
special occasion. Police were seen in the area carrying machine guns, and
the entire scene was all too reminiscent of martial law [source: Eyewitness
Report, Jun. 8, 2005, New York, NY]. after checking the website of the New
York City Department, we found that the terrorist threat advisory was at
level orange or high alert [NYPD Official Website, Jun. 10, 2005, New York,
NY]. We at "Last Trumpet Ministries" decided to try to verify all of this,
and phone calls were made from our office to various agencies in New York on
Friday afternoon, June 10th, 2005, including the New York City Police
Department, the Mayor's Press Office, FEMA, the Governor's Press Office, and
even Homeland Security . While some of the offices we contacted tried to be
helpful to a certain extent, the Department of Homeland Security hung up on
us when the tanks were mentioned. We finally contacted the New York state
Office of Military and Naval affairs where an officer who is a trained armor
officer looked at the pictures that we e-mailed him and identified the
vehicles as a type used by the Marines. He also said that this type of
vehicle was used as a part of a law-enforcement program and were the type
used at the Republican National Convention as a show of force against the
terrorists. The question that remains is how close are we to another planned
terrorist incident and subsequent martial law? When will the other shoe

We've been warned longer and more thoroughly than any other generation. It isn't just the prophets alone giving the warning but our own Govt. guarantees that we'll be attacked someday. I noticed in the beginning it read that this country has much to repent....and I agree, but I do not believe it has anything to do with abortion...I believe in the right to make choices...its not for us to judge....those women that choose abortion will have their confession with God, and its between them, not us....just as mine are for me or you...... and I have a few friends that are homosexuals.....my life has been blessed because of them.....

I so respect your opinion....and I enjoy receiving this journal, and thank you for allowing me to voice... I sure hope this does not make a difference in how we feel about each other...

Scripture must be interpreted by scripture.

In that the (horrid) people of Babylon rejoiced as they destroyed Jerusalem, and dashed the little ones of Israel against stones, this captive was pronouncing that one day other horrible people would attack Babylon and in fiendish delight would do the same to their children as they had done to Israel.

Let us not imagine that all this destruction of precious human lives will go unpunished.

NOT all of us are lukewarm...There are those who either haven't left their first love or are rekindling the fire (seeking GOD for fresh oil, baptism in the fire, as well as the SPIRIT, as JESUS baptizes HIS followers. First I heard of ONE , then I heard of Another, and Another, and Another....HALLELUJAH! NOW I AM convinced there are ALOT of them-US around. (I include myself with the greatest of heart-cry to GOD that HE would grant my prayer to be included in this group of faithful children.)

IF YOU ARE ONE OF THESE ........"dead to self and ALIVE to The SPIRIT"...or it is your GREATEST desire to be......

Beloved,Not very long ago at all, I was weeping...profusely.

Crying from the depths, it seemed, of my very soul.

I was hurting...a l o t.

Why?

The why is really not important, is it?

No.

But I was there...and I am writing this to anybody else who happens to find themselves in a similar place.

In my distress I called to Our LORD. HE is always so Gracious, Loving, and Kind. (THANK YOU, JESUS!)

still, the aching was more than I could (it seemed to me)bear.

I needed re-inforcements...my sheild of faith didn't seem big enough for this battle...I don't know, maybe I had let some of the devil's fiery darts get through to me...

Now, I totally respect GOD's servants.

Especially those who are awesomely ANNOINTED because of their MUCH SEEKING GOD, spending time with GOD, and OBEYING HIM.

I respect GOD so much, and these servants so, I hesitate greatly to bother them...as David would NOT lift a finger against King Saul because Saul had been annointed of GOD-neither could I imagine to do anything cross-wise of HIS servants. JUST Bless them to the greatest of my ability. (Because GOD touched/es... is WITH THEM, don't you see?)

anyway,

I wrote to a servant of GOD, because of the great pain. I asked him to forgive me, for writing to him--he is an EXTREMELY busy minister of the LORD. His work is a great one. TO GOD BE ALL THE GLORY...FOR ONLY GOD COULD HAVE DONE WHAT THAT MINISTRY HAS ACCOMPLISHED.(Thousands and thousands of souls brought to JESUS =salvation! And hundreds of churches started! Thousands and thousands healed from every manner of disease...hundreds brought back from the dead! I tell you, JESUS is ALIVE and WELL on PLANET EARTH! AND so are those who believe on HIS Name!)

Yes, I wrote to him anyway, because of the great pain...I had to ask for help! GOD answers the effectual fervent prayers of righteous men.

Do you know, he did not get mad at me? He didnt even just ignore me, either. No. He cared...like JESUS, Himself does, I imagine...

He even tookthe time to write back to me! This is what the note said...and it is WONDERFUL...I share it with you now for it is a Word from the LORD--and will help destroy the attacks of the enemy in your life, too!

Jesus is King! No matter what you feel or think,HE is the answer! Keep your eyes on Him don't let discouragement pull you down. Listen to some faithfilled music and be thankful for all HE has done in your life.

"The devil comes to steal, kill and destroy, BUT I HAVE COME TO GIVE LIFE AND THAT ABOUNDANTLY, JESUS SAID" It's not about us getting it all right, it's about allowing HIS GRACE to be sufficient! He is about US HAVING LIFE!!! He will help you and the fire of the Holy Spirit will consume the attack of the devil! Be blessed!

I have a few friends that I have noticed have this CRAZY IDEA...

They are good people, and they are like: When I mess up, I deserve whatever comes my way. So, ok. I'm ready to take what I deserve. Whatever the punishment is - give it to me.

When it comes to GOD's point of view: THE WAY THEY ARE THINKING IS CRAZINESS!!! TOTAL, TOTAL, INSANITY!

Why?

Do you REALIZE what the punishment for even the MOST TINY CRIME is...by THE HOLY GOD Creator of the Universe is?

The wages of sin is death. The soul that sinneth, it shall die. Period.
Then there is e t e r n i t y to be spent in hell fires and torments.

EVEN THE HOLY GOD Creator Does Not want this to happen to ANYONE.
For, HE is also LOVE. And in HIS Great LOVE and MERCY, HE has made a way to 'forgive and cleanse' people from their sins.

HE sent JESUS, HIS Son to die for our sins. That's right. JESUS has already been punished for all the crimes of mankind. Yet, only the ones who come to HIM for forgiveness will be washed from sin, and made into NEW CREATIONS, without sin.

It hasn't come about yet, but that is GOD's Plan...and HE Will Do what HE has planned! HE Will make everyone who accepts JESUS to be LIKE JESUS IS, Pure, HOLY and living forever with HIM in Heaven.

So...

Don't ... 'grit your teeth and bear it' nor 'take your medicine' ...

Heavenly Father,

I bow in worship and praise before you. I cover myself with the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ as my protection. I surrender myself completely and unreservedly in every area of my life to You. I take a stand against all the workings of satan that would hinder me in my prayer life. I address myself only to the True and Living God and refuse any involvement of satan in my prayer. Satan, I command you, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, to leave my presence with all your demons.

I bring the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ between us. It surrounds me like a mighty wall that you cannot penetrate. Heavenly Father, I worship You and give You praise. I recognize that You are worthy to receive all glory and honor and praise. I renew my allegiance to You and pray that the blessed Holy Spirit would enable me in this time of prayer. I am thankful, Heavenly Father, that You have loved me from past eternity and that You sent the Lord Jesus Christ into the world to die as my substitute. I am thankful that the Lord Jesus Christ came as my representative and that through Him You have completely forgiven me; You have adopted me into your family; You have assumed all responsibility for me; You have given me eternal life; You have given me the perfect righteousness of the Lord Jesus Christ so I am now justified. I am thankful that in Him, you have made me complete, and that You have offered Yourself to me to be my daily help and strength. Heavenly Father, open my eyes that I might see how great You are and how complete Your provision is for this day. I take my place with Him in he heavenlies and recognize by faith that all wicked spirits and Satan himself are under my feet. I declare, therefore, that satan and his wicked spirits are subject to mein the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. I am thankful for the Armor You have provided. I put on the Girdle of Truth, the Breastplate of Righteousness, the Sandals of Peace and the Helmet of Salvation. I lift up the Shield of Faith against all the fiery darts of the enemy; and I take in my hand the Sword of the Spirit, the Word of God. I choose to use Your Word against all the forces of evil in my life. I put on this Armor and live and pray in complete dependence upon You, blessed Holy Spirit. I claim all that victory for my life today. I reject all the insinuations, and accusations, and the temptations of Satan. Open my eyes and show me the areas of my life that do not please You. Work in me to cleanse me from all ground that would give satan a foothold against me. I do in every way stand into all that it means to be Your adopted child and I welcome all the ministry of the Holy Spirit. By faith and in dependence upon You, I put off the fleshly works of the evil one and stand into all the victory of the crucifixion where the Lord Jesus Christ provided cleansing from the old nature. I put on the Your holiness and stand into all the victory of the resurrection and the provision He has made for me to live above sin. Therefore, today I put off all forms of selfishness and put on the new nature with its love.

I put off all forms of fear and put on the new nature with its courage. I put off all forms of weakness and put on the new nature with its strength. I put off all forms of lust and put on the new nature with its righteousness, purity, and honesty. I am trusting You to show me how to make this practical in my daily life. In every way I stand into the victory of the ascension and glorification of the Lord Jesus Christ, whereby all the principalities and powers were made subject to Him.

I claim my place in Christ as victorious with Him over all the enemies of my soul. Blessed Holy Spirit, I pray that You would fill me. Come into my life, break down every idol and cast out every foe. I am thankful, Heavenly Father, for the expression of Your will for my daily life as You have shown me in Your Word. I, therefore, claim all the will of God for today. I am thankful that You have blessed me with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. I am thankful that You have begotten me unto a living hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. I am thankful that You have made a provision so that today I can live filled with the Spirit of God with love and joy and peace, with long-suffering, gentleness and goodness, with meekness, faithfulness and self-control in my life.

I recognize that this is Your will for me and I therefore reject and resist all the endeavors of satan and his wicked spirits to rob me of the will of god. I refuse in this day to believe my feelings and I hold up the Shield of Faith against all the accusations and distortion and insinuations that satan would put into my mind. I claim the fullness of the will of God for my life today. In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I completely surrender myself to You, Heavenly Father, as a living sacrifice. I choose not to be conformed to this world. I choose to be transformed by the renewing of my mind, and I pray that You would show me Your will and enable me to walk in all the fullness of Your will today.

I am thankful, Heavenly Father, that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, to the casting down of imagination and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge God, and to bring every thought into obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, in my own life today I tear down the strongholds of satan and smash the plans of satan that have been formed against me. I tear down the strongholds of satan against my mind, and I surrender my mind to You, blessed Holy Spirit.

I affirm, Heavenly Father, that You have not given me the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love and of a sound mind. I break and smash the strongholds of satan formed against my emotions today and I give my emotions to you. I smash the strongholds of satan formed against my will today, I give my will to You and choose to make the right decisions of faith. I smash the strongholds of satan formed against my body today, I give my body to You recognizing that I am your temple. I rejoice in Your mercy and goodness.
Heavenly Father, I pray that now and through this day You would strengthen and enlighten me. Show me the way satan is hindering and tempting and lying and distorting the truth in my life. Enable me tobe the kind of person that would please You. Enable me to be aggressive in prayer and faith. Enable me to be aggressive mentally, to think about and practice Your Word, and to give You Your rightful place in my life. Again, I cover myself with the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ and pray that You, blessed Holy Spirit, would bring all the work of the crucifixion, all the work of the resurrection, all the work of the glorification, and all the work of Pentecost into my life today.

I surrender myself to You. I refuse to be discouraged. You are the God of all hope. You have proven Your power by resurrecting Jesus Christ from the dead, and I claim in every way this victory over all the satanic forces in my life. I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ with thanksgiving and praise to You, alone. In Jesus Name Amen.

THE poor man had nothing in this life -except ONE THING He was right with GOD.

The rich man had everything he desired. TOO BAD for HIM that pleasing GOD was not high enough on his list of priorities. For we can plainly see, he was NOT right with GOD.

The BIBLE calls them fools who will not hear the Word of GOD.

GOD always gives us a choice, and intreats us to choose life...FOR why will ye die?

Jesus came that we might have life. JESUS is the only one who can take us to GOD. JESUS's blood is the only Pure and HOLY Sacrifice that can wash away all our sins. JESUS is the giver of LIFE.

IF being right with GOD is important to you...You must call out to JESUS. Be truly sorry for not being PERFECT and HOLY. Give your life to JESUS. Ask HIM to save you from sin, death, and hell.

HE will give you LIFE, and Health, peace, and an eternity in the heavens full of happiness, joy, and eternal love.

The Man of GOD was a Fisher of Men. He fed GOD's people in obedience to GOD , the shoulder-bag-box-cooler was not his own, but belonged to GOD.

The fish that had gone on to heaven, but their blood was left behind in the cooler of frozen ice-chips are Men and Women of GOD who had done the works of GOD when they were here.

Their blood (blood of JESUS) that remained in the cooler are their HOLY GHOST speaches, teachings, and sermons.

The ice...was frozen living water that kept the blood fresh and alive, and profitable for 'food' for GOD's children even now.

GOD Himself did that...the Ice, and the Blood...the ICE refers to the HOLY SPIRIT, and the BLOOD, to JESUS.

The man of GOD, while he did not give NEW food, was giving GOOD food to GOD's children.

What the man of GOD was doing was feeding The People with GOD's HOLY SPIRIT Filled messages from days gone by...
